“Welcome to the third edition of the International Meeting of Young Researchers in Early Modern History. This meeting, as the name indicates, is destined to young researchers and had the honour of being represented in its first edition in Lisbon, at ISCTE's premises in 2009, organized by members of the Center for Studies of Contemporary History. The second edition was held in 2011 in the city of Braga, organized by members of the Department of History and the Institute of Social Sciences, University of Minho, in the premises of the Museum D. Diogo de Sousa.

This edition, in the historic city of Évora, the organization counts with members from the Interdisciplinary Centre for History, Cultures and Societies at the University of Évora (CIDEHUS), the Center for Art History and Scientific Research (CHAIA) and the Center for the Study of History and Philosophy of Science was born of the Center for the Study of History and Philosophy of Science (CEHFCi) also at the University of Évora.
