Rural RePort – Rede de História Rural em Português

Rural Report - Network of Rural History in Portuguese is an informal network of contacts that brings together all scholars interested in Rural History, working in Portugal, where it is based, or in other Portuguese-speaking countries.
The Network was established in February 2011 and its main objective is to establish a space for sharing information on projects and activities that directly or indirectly relate to the Rural History and other disciplinary approaches to rural studies. In July 2012 Rural Report was admitted as a section of the Portuguese Society of Rural Studies (SPER).
This network, despite having a geographical scope that deliberately extends beyond Portugal and Europe, it is also the beginning of a future section of EURHO Portuguese (European Rural History Organization / European Organization for Rural History), founded in September 2010.
