Industrial Heritage in Southern Portugal

Industrial Heritage in Southern Portugal

“Industrial Heritage in Southern Portugal” started in September 2012 as a working group. This group joined together in an initiative of students and researchers of CIDEHUS. The project seeks to present the industrial heritage of southern Portugal. The goals are to inventory, to study and to disclose the industrial heritage. This initiative was justified by the absence of scientific research projects within historical, cultural and touristic frameworks, around an important heritage whose valorization (or appreciation) is urgent.
